Slow Stitch Kit - Boro Stitching

Have a go at the traditional Japanese art of Boro stitching! Originally used to repair and strengthen work clothes, this technique entails hand or machine stitching patches of fabric to a background and adding decorative stitches and trimmings. It’s very easy to try at home, just get creative with this pack!

• A4 sized backing fabric (sturdy cotton or similar)

• Various trims such as ribbons, lace and rickrack

• A few buttons

• 2 embroidery threads

• 2 spools of thread
