Opening Hours

Our Textile Centre is open 10am-3pm Monday to Friday (and Saturdays during summer months). You can pop in to shop in the scrap store during these hours or check out our timetable of workshops here.

  • The X95 bus runs regularly to Langholm from Edinburgh and Carlisle. For the timetable, click here.

  • Carlisle train station runs direct trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and many other cities. For more information, click here.

    From Carlisle, you can take the bus to Langholm - please see above for more info.

  • Langholm is located on the A7, which runs from Edinburgh to Carlisle.

    From the M6, exit at junction 44, then take the A7 to Langholm.

    From the M74, you can exit at junction 21 and take the B6357 to Langholm. This is a very twisty road with lots of potholes, so you can alternatively follow the M6 to Carlisle and follow the above directions.

  • We have step-free access and a disabled toilet. If you have any other questions or requests please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

  • Dogs are permitted as long as they are well behaved and kept on a lead

  • Yes, you can find them in our disabled bathroom

  • Unfortunately, we don’t have our own car park. However, there is street parking on Glenesk road, as well as free car parks on Townfoot Road and at the Co-op on Glenesk Road.

  • There is no need to book a ticket to visit our scrap store or to attend a drop-in session (please see ‘What’s on at Creation Mill’ above for more info)

    All of our bookable workshops are listed here and do require tickets. Please book ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
