The Scrap Store is open Monday Friday 10-3pm

Climate Week: Transformation Challenge
As part of our Climate Week celebrations, join us for a Sewing Bee inspired transformation challenge! Using a selection of scrap materials, you will be tasked with making a wearable piece of clothing or an accessory in just 5 hours. You’ll have technical support from Anna, but the design is completely up to you.

Climate Week: Embroidery mending and decoration Session
Join Emma for a couple of hours of learning how to cover stains, rips and blemishes on your clothing!
There will be a range of stitching patterns to try. All materials are provided along with light refreshments. Please bring with you the garment or garments you wish to mend/decorate.


Climate Week: Fashion Reimagined - Film Screening and Discussion
Enjoy a screening of Fashion Reimagined, followed by a discussion about the film. Tea and coffee are provided.
This event is funded by D&G Climate Hub so tickets are free to you, however there is an option to add a donation which will help to fund our community work.

Climate Week: Climate Cafe
Drop-in session with advice and information on all things climate change. Pop in for a cuppa and leave with your questions answered! We’ll also be handing out climate packs with information and materials to take home.

A day of Halloween themed textiles for your young person! There will be a variety of textiles activities to try in a relaxed environment. Refreshments provided, but please bring a packed lunch.

Climate Week: Mending Monday - Focus on a stitch in time!
Join us during our regular Mending Monday session with a particular focus on learning new stitches. These stitches will be your super power when it comes to mending items of clothing and household textiles - as they say ‘A stitch in time saves nine!’
