Climate Week: Mending Monday - Focus on a stitch in time!
Join us during our regular Mending Monday session with a particular focus on learning new stitches. These stitches will be your super power when it comes to mending items of clothing and household textiles - as they say ‘A stitch in time saves nine!’
No need to book, just turn up with the willingness to learn and enjoy a cuppa too.

Climate Week: Transformation Challenge
As part of our Climate Week celebrations, join us for a Sewing Bee inspired transformation challenge! Using a selection of scrap materials, you will be tasked with making a wearable piece of clothing or an accessory in just 5 hours. You’ll have technical support from Anna, but the design is completely up to you.
The maker of the best item will win a crafty prize!
Although you’ll have some support, this workshop is best suited to intermediate sewers who can confidently use a sewing machine.
Refreshments are provided, but please bring your own packed lunch.
This workshop is funded by D&G Climate Hub so tickets are free to you, however there is an option to add a donation which will help to fund our community work.
