Enjoy a two day farm experience at Burnfoot Farm and Hebbs Alpacas with fibre processing at Creation Mill and free time to explore Langholm and the surrounding area.
Day one:
Travel from Creation Mill up to Burnfoot Farm for a two hour tour with Andrew and Gillian plus a detailed discussion of the wool processing of the blankets made from their own wool. In addition to the sheep talk, enjoy listening to Andrew’s witty tales of life on a rural hill farm steeped in local history with the chance to witness wildlife among the Border hills.
Travel back to Creation Mill to begin the fibre processing creating your own bespoke creation from Burnfoot Wool.

Day two:
Travel to Hebbs Alpacas to meet Bev and her adorable herd of 90 alpacas on her historic farm along the river Esk. Bev will take you through the processes of caring for these inquisitive animals and invite you to get up close with feeding, halter training and the skirting of the fleece before heading back to Creation Mill to begin your fibre processing.
