Christmas is just around the corner and this time of year is often associated with overconsumption as we panic to buy our loved ones things that, if we’re really honest, they may not really want or need!
This week we are joining the Circular Communities Scotland #ShopCircular campaign promoting the joy of sustainable gift giving.
In particular we love to shout about the endless possibilities for thoughtful and functional handmade gifting.
We have a scrap store literally bursting at the seams full of inspiration and everything you need to have a handmade Christmas that would make Kistry Allsop proud!

If you’re local - pop into our Scrapstore in lovely Langholm where we have an array of craft kits, fabrics and haberdashery for sale. We are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Please note that we will be closing for Christmas on the 20th of December).

All of the items we have available have been rescued from industry or from private donors and have been given a new lease of life. Shopping in a more sustainable way is not only better for the environment, but also gives back as all profits from Creation Mill are pumped straight back into our community groups and activities, what could be more festive than that?!
